Mobile Health Van

AMM Foundation in partnership with Wockhardt Foundation operates Six Mobile Health Van, one each in Haliyal (Karnataka), Sarigam (Gujarat), Deckiajuli (Assam) Roorkee (Uttarakhand),In the tribal areas around Kadayalamodu in Nagercoil and S. Pudur (Sivaganga).The Vans are equipped with a Mobile lab Kit and ECG facility and Free medicines. The team consists of qualified Doctor, Nurse/Pharmacist, Social Worker, Lab Technician and a driver.

Wockhardt Foundation will operate the Mobile Health Van along with the Mobile Lab Kit and ECG machine on Behalf of AMM Foundation

AMM Foundation will fund the cost of Operating the van along with the Mobile Lab Kit and ECG machine

The Van will cover two villages per day for six days a week

The Van will be equipped with

One Driver
Medicines for a month
Mobile lab Kit /ECG machine

Mobile Health Van Hospital on wheels project is implemented in partnership with Wockhardt Foundation. This project reaches out to the communities with has no or limited access to health care facilities. AMMF operates four Mobile Health Van in various locations

Equipped with a mobile Bio chemistry Lab and an ECG Machine the van offers complete primary medical care to the communities. For many of them this Mobile Heath vans are their only access to health care. Each van covers 12 to 15 villages in cycle of six days.

Scientific need assessment study were conducted prior to the launch of the Program to identify the Villages to be covered. Due permission were sought from the Government Health Authorities thereby supplementing Government’s health program. The five vans reach out to more than Lakh rural beneficiaries in a year
