The assessment results for the International School Award 2015-16 was announced on 27th Oct 2016.

The re submitted portfolio of evidence has been approved and the school is successfully awarded with the International School Award for the period 2016-19

 

The International School Award is a global benchmarking project and is an opportunity for the students and teachers to develop an international outlook. The curriculum for this academic year is designed on seven projects which have a scope for global study.

 

The learning outcomes of the projects focus on helping students gain knowledge, enhance communication, collaborate, analyze, evaluate and develop an attitude of appreciation and tolerance towards various cultures and people.

 

The students involved in each project study similar practices that prevail in other countries namely-Japan, USA, UK, Singapore, Indonesia, Africa, Srilanka and Germany.

 

The seven projects :

Mr.Achim Fabig , German Consul visits our school!!!

The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr.Achim Fabig visited our school on 23rd February for an interactive talk on the ISA projects ‘Energy conservation’ and ‘Traffic system’.

The two hour session was an excellent platform for students to understand the energy conservation strategies, alternate sources of energy and traffic system adapted in Germany.

The Consul General was passionate on responding to queries asked by our students. He also guided students on the importance of civic sense and motivated them to be responsible young adults.

Grand Parents Day

As a part of their ISA project ‘Joy of Sharing’ , Students of class VI shared their joyful moments on that day with their grandparents. They welcomed them with a garland and together they enjoyed fun loving activities like connexions, collage making, snack time etc. The grandparents felt ‘These happy moments are life long memories for us to cherish forever’.
