About the Department

Electronics and Communication Engineering Sandwich course was started with G.O.I support in the year 1981.Diploma course in Electronics and Communication Engineering Regular was started in the year 2003.

Computer lab for Electronics and Communication Engineering Department was setup in the year 2005.Part-time Diploma course in Electronics and Communication Engineering Regular was started in the year 2012.

Electronics and Communication Engineering cover the wide range of learning areas including different electronic components, devices and their circuit design, instrumentation, VLSI design, Embedded system, PLC etc., with a particular focus to the current practices in the industry .

Mission

M1 To develop need based curriculum by involving Industrial experts, academic experts and alumni periodically to meet the needs of the society.
M2 To train the faculty in the recent trends in Electronics and Communication Engineering and teaching methodologies so as to provide a conducive learning environment for students.
M3 To provide an environment for students to work as a team practicing interpersonal skills, social skills, communication skills and learn collaboratively and to develop their personality to face the challenges of the society.
